Broccoli With Garlic Crumbs
Place steamed broccoli in a buttered shallow baking dish. Separately, cook minced garlic in melted butter and stir in enough breadcrumbs to make a mixture that is dry enough to sprinkle over the top of the steamed broccoli. (I like to sprinke a lot of crumbs on the brcooli and I like to use a large amount of garlic, but you can vary the quantity of crumb topping and the intensity of the garlic flavor to taste). Sprinkle the crumb toppiong over the garlic and Bake in a 400 degree F oven until the crumbs begin to brown.

Broccoli and Tomato Salad
In this recipe, the broccoli is cooked and the tomatoes are fresh. Cut fresh broccoli into chunks about 1 inch in size and steam until tender. Chill the broccoli Cut fresh tomatoes into 1 inch chunks and mix with the cooked, cooled broccoli, using half broccoli and half tomatoes. Make a dressing by mixing together mayonnaise, very finely minced onion, salt, and pepper. Gently mix the dressing with the tomatoes and broccoli.
