Campbell's Classic Green Bean Casserole

This is the classic recipe first published by the Campbell's Soup Company in 1955. It was created as a recipe that could be made with items that cold always be kept on-hand: frozen or canned green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and canned french fried onion rings.

Green Bean Casserole Ingredients
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- Dash ground black pepper
- 4 cups of cooked, French-cut green beans
- 1-1/3 cups of French's French Fried Onions

Green Bean Casserole Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a 1-1/2 quart casserole, mix the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, and (only) 2/3 of a cup of the dried onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture then sprinkle the top with the remaining dried onions. bake an additional 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
