Campbell's Light Green Bean Casserole

The Campell's Soup Company first published its famous green bean casserole with french fried onion rings in 1955,. More recently they published this lighter, lower sodium, and healthier version of their classic recipe.

Ligher Green Bean Casserole Ingredients
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/4 cup milk (2% fat)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 pound cut fresh green beans (3 cups), cooked and drained
- 2 tablespoons crushed French's French Fried Onions

Ligher Green Bean Casserole Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together in a 1-1/2 quart casserole: the soup, milk, onion powder, black pepper, soy sauce and green beans. Bake at 350° degrees. for 25 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture then sprinkle the french fried onions on top. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
