Mock Orange Julius Recipe

This is the best recipe I have seen so far for a smoothie-like drink that comes close to recreating the creamy orange drink sold at Orange Julius stands. I have seen recipes that including dry vanilla pudding mix an an ingredient but this one only includes frozen orange juice concentrate, milk, sugar, vanilla, water, and ice cubes, all blended together.

Mock Orange Julius Ingredients
- 6 ounce can of frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ofvanilla extract
- 8 or 9 ice cubes

Mock Orange Julius Instructions
Mix all of the ingredients except the ice cubes in a blender. Blend the mixture for 1 or 2 minutes adding the ice cubes one at a time.

VARIATION: For a Mock Strawberry-Orange, Pineapple-Orange or Banana-Orange Julius, blend in strawherries or chunks of pineapple or banana to taste.
