Roasted Brussels Sprouts

My favorite recipe for roasted brussels sprouts includes pearl onions, garlic cloves, pine nuts, and fres parmesan cheese, but All of the ingredients in this recipe are optional except the brussels sprouts and the olive oil.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts Ingredients
- 4 cups of Brussels Sprouts, cut in half (about 1 pound)
- 1 cup of pearl onions (optional)
- Garlic cloves as many as you like (optional)
- 1/4 cup of pine nuts (optional)
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup of fresh shredded parmesan cheese (optional)

Roasted Brussels Sprouts Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toss the brussels sprout halves with the pearl onions, garlic cloves, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet and roast at 400 degrees, stirring a couple of times, until the sprouts, onions, and garlic are golden brown and crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, usually about 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from the oven, mix in the parmesan cheese, and serve.
